TAKE ADVANTAGE OF OUR SERVICES
As a doula, I can provide non-medical support to the dying and the family and help them navigate the final phase of their life.

This can include advance directives, ethical will, legacy project, respite care, vigil planning, sitting vigil bedside, and bereavement.
Advance Directives- documenting your wishes for your family and health care team, if you want medical intervention, CPR, nutrition, etc.

Ethical Will- This is not a legal document but to document family history, life lessons, and achievements, family stories, values, beliefs, etc.

Legacy Project- This can be as simple as writing letters to your loved ones to read once you are gone, organizing photos, or filming a video journal.

Respite Care- Giving the caregivers a chance to refresh, run errands, etc., I will sit at the bedside with their loved one or helping to organize outside caregivers.

Vigil Planning- a road map on how you want your final days to look and feel. Including pain management, visitors, sounds, smells, things that will bring you comfort. Religious or spiritual values honored

The Vigil- supporting the person and family emotionally and physically keeping them comfortable and pain-free as possible as the body transitions from life to death and providing aftercare for the body.

Bereavement- Checking in with the family in the following weeks after the death to lend a compassionate ear and open heart.
